Arlington is Mad about Eyelash Extensions

Arlington’s Eyelash Extension Experts at The MadLash

Our certified professionals at The MadLash Studio in Alexandria have the talent and experience to create the best eyelash extensions you will find in Arlington. Are you looking to get extensions for the first time? Our team of experts will guide you through the process, so you will know exactly what to expect. Whether you are looking for a more natural subdued look or something more dramatic, we give each client wanting eyelash extensions a one-on-one consultation to ensure they are 100% satisfied.  We want you to look and feel amazing with your new lashes because when you look good, we look good!

The number one question we receive from new Arlington clients is,

“Are eyelash extensions going to damage or cause loss to my natural lashes?”

And to that, we are happy to say no. Applied correctly; extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Please keep in mind that with new extensions, as with most things, there are some exceptions. Some individuals can experience sensitivity or a slight allergic reaction to the adhesives we use to apply the eyelash extensions. If you begin to feel any adverse reactions to the adhesive or your eyes start to water at any time during the application process, inform your technician immediately. The MadLash Studio in Alexandria provides a clean, safe salon environment for applying and maintaining your new eyelash extensions.

The second most common thing that our Arlington clients want to know is,

“How long will the extensions last”

We only use high-quality synthetic mink lashes with all of our clients. Our certified technicians are educated and will never triple the natural lash’s length or width, as this would place too much stress on the natural lash and ultimately result in lash loss. Your new eyelash extensions will be fantastic year-round if you come in for routine maintenance every 3 to 4 weeks. You should avoid getting your new eyelashes wet for 12 to 24 hours after application to ensure you do not weaken the adhesive. If you choose to wear mascara, only apply it to the tips and keep away from waterproof mascara because it is difficult to remove. The mascara removal process can cause your lashes to fall out. Although it may be obvious, picking at your new eyelashes can also cause them to fall out prematurely. Following these simple tips will allow you to enjoy your new fuller eyelashes longer.

Finally, Arlington clients want to know,

“How long do they take to apply?”

The time it will take to apply your new eyelashes will vary depending on the style and volume you choose; however, a new full set of eyelash extensions will take approximately 2 hours to complete. For a Demi-Set or a retouch appointment, it typically takes an hour. When you think about it, a 2-hour session in our relaxing studio is a significantly more efficient use of your time when compared to applying a set of fake lashes at home every morning. Not to mention that eyelashes applied by our professional technicians in our salon environment are going to last a lot longer and look significant fuller than premade self-applied lashes.
